Book Group

We are a community committed to learning together. Our book group reads a wide variety of books that speak to our faith.

Our book group is reading: Speaking of Faith: Why Religion Matters and How to Talk About It by Krista Tippett. Some fodder from our last conversation including these quotes:

Holocaust Survivor Elie Wiesel said, “I had never before considered that it could be as painful to be a child of those who ran the camps as a child of those who died in them.”

Theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer insisted even as he faced death for participating in a plot to kill Hitler “that Christianity brings essential questions and insights into the world – insights that the world needs and that it will constantly reinvent and rename even as institutions betray them."

We will continue our discussion on Speaking of Faith by Krista Tippett in March. We will meet March 12, April 2, and April 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Choir Room. All are welcome to join in on the discussion.
